On August 28th, 2022, we gave away 75 bags of supplies to children at Rash Field Park at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! We are very grateful to have had this opportunity to continue giving back to the community!

Giving Back with Constellation Energy and United Way
On August 26th, 2022, we partnered with Constellation Energy and the United Way in giving away 120 backpacks to Beechfield Elementary/ Middle School! The backpacks were filled with plenty of school supplies to ensure the students had everything they needed for the new school year! We also facilitated dodgeball and basketball games. Thank you to Constellation Energy and the United Way for partnering with us for this event.
Toy Drive at Beechfield Elementary Middle School
Happy Holidays everyone! We held a toy drive at Beechfield Elementary Middle school – we served roughly 200 students. We’re proud to announce that we’ll be partnering with on mentorship programs in 2022! Check out the gallery below for pics!
Back 2 School at Beechfield Elementary Middle School
On Saturday, August 28th, 2021, IGI hosted a backpack drive to support Beechfield Elementary Middle School’s back to school efforts! We gave away 100 backpacks and 30 mental health awareness t-shirts! Check out video from the event over on our Instagram and the photos below.
Hoops @ Druid 3-on-3 Tournament
On July 30th, 2021, IGI hosted it’s first annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, MD! We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event. We can’t wait to see you next year! Check out some photos from the event below.
Finishing The Year Strong Back to School Event
Today at Furley Elementary School we gave away approximately 100 IGI tote bags filled with school supplies, and 100 lunches. The lunches even came with instructions on how to regrow the fruit provided! We will continue to support our community!
Presenting to Ms. Bolden’s Class
This morning, IGI co-founder Michael Lewis visited Ms. Bolden’s class at Mary E. Rodman Elementary School. Michael demonstrated how fruits can power LED lights to a group of kindergarteners! Thank you Ms. Bolden for having us! We can’t wait to come visit again soon!
Family Science Night
We had a blast at the Family Science Night sponsored by the Maryland Science Center, at Mary E. Rodman Elementary School! At the event, we gave a presentation on how food is converted into energy in your body, and made sure to emphasize that making healthy food choices are important! We also demonstrated a photon powered RC car! A big thank you to the school for having us and for the Maryland Science Center for sponsoring the event!
Second Annual Back-To-School Cookout and Backpack Drive
